Plebe Summer- Plebe

In honor of Plebe Summer and all of our new USNA girlfriends I decided to create a "Plebe" doll. Here is the process I went through to create this cute guy in uniform.

This is the beginning of his head and body.

I made the arm by attaching a pipe cleaner through his body in the arm area. I then made both arms and slipped the pipe cleaner through them and sewed the arms to the body.

After both arms have been sewed on.

I did the same process for the legs. I decided to make the shoes black to stick out from the all white uniform.

The beginning of his pants. This part was fairly difficult.

His pants are finished. They do not come off his body though.

The front of his shirt, yes he is wearing a Blue Rim underneath! ;)

The finished doll. I might add a mouth, belt and pocket. But I am still debating it.

This doll was a lot of fun to make. It was really difficult to think up my own pattern. This is the first pattern I have created on my very own without the use of other patterns. Good luck to all of the c/o 2015 girlfriends!
